Q: Where are you from?
A: I am from Kyoto, Japan.

Q: What is your year/major? Have you studied anywhere besides Clemson?
A: I'm a second year grad student, previously I studied at the Kanazawa College of Art and Craft.

Q: How long have you been making art and why do you do it?
A: I started making art around 2008.

Q: What themes do you pursue as an artist?
A: Through my work I am investigating how an art piece can change the experience of an audience and space.

Q: What do you like about your work? In general and for the selected piece?
A: I like the drawing I am doing on my piece; it is a new challenge from last season.

Q: What are you most excited about for this CSA season? What do you hope to gain by joining us as a share artist?
A: I am very excited to return as a share artist.  It was a great experience being a part of last year’s CSArt, and I am excited to share my piece with more audiences.

Q: What are some other art related internships, demonstrations, gallery showings, or publications you have been involved with?
A: I’m excited to say that I have been selected to participate in the Projects Space at NCECA 2016, themed Makers, Mentors, and Milestones  in Kansas City.
