Fall 2014 Juror: Harriett Green
"Harriett Green is the Visual Arts Director of the South Carolina Arts Commission. She received her Bachelor of Arts in art history from the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 1980. From 1980-1988, she was the registrar and assistant curator (1988) at the Columbia Museum of Art. As former assistant curator of the Columbia Museum of Art and in her current position as the visual arts director of the S.C. Arts Commission, Green has curated numerous exhibitions including Kentucky/South Carolina Exchange; Triennial 92; Statements of Heritage: Variant American Visions; South Carolina Arts Commission Visual Arts and Craft Fellows Retrospective, South Carolina National Bank Collects, Robert Blackburn: A Life’s Work, and others. She is curator of the S.C. Arts Commission State Art Collection and organizes exhibitions for venues throughout the state."
